In 2017, 141 students sat for the examination. 92.9% of our students attained Level 2 or above in 5 subjects, including Chinese and English. The overall passing percentage was 96.4% with 60% attaining Level 4 or above. 78% of our students met the minimum entrance requirements for degree programmes (Level 3 or above in Chinese Language and English Language and Level 2 or above in Mathematics, Liberal Studies and 1 elective subject).

Moreover, 13 students obtained total scores of 34 or more in seven subjects. 4 students attained outstanding results, with a total score of 41 or above in 7 subjects.

Multiple Pathways 2017

Many of our students could further their studies at the tertiary level, due to their diligence and teachers’ mentorship. 65.2% are pursuing degree courses while another 34.8% are continuing with other pathways towards higher education.

 

Our school takes special pride in our students’ admission to the 3 local renowned universities, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, University of Hong Kong and Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. 12 students have been admitted to CUHK, 12 students to HKU and another 5 students to HKUST for degree courses, amongst which are coveted programmes such as HKU’s Bachelor of Pharmacy , Bachelor of Arts (BA), Bachelor of Business Administration,  Bachelor of Finance, Bachelor of Engineering, Bachelor of Arts in Architectural Studies, Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Education in Language Education - Chinese (double degree) and Bachelor of Social Sciences (BSS); CUHK’s Bachelor of Social Science, Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Nursing and Bachelor of Business Administration, as well as HKUST’s Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Engineering.

In 2016, 167 students sat for the examination. 97.01% of our students attained Level 2 or above in 5 subjects, including Chinese and English. The overall passing percentage was 96.9% with 54.6% attaining Level 4 or above. 83.32% of our students met the minimum entrance requirements for degree programmes (Level 3 or above in Chinese Language and English Language and Level 2 or above in Mathematics, Liberal Studies and 1 elective subject).

Moreover, 13 students obtained total scores of 34 or more in seven subjects. Chan Cheuk-luen achieved outstanding results, with Level 5** in 4 subjects, Level 5* in 2 subjects, Level 5 in 1 subject and a total score of 45.

Multiple Pathways 2016

Many of our students could pursue their studies at tertiary level due to their hard work and good effort. 48.5% are pursuing degree courses while another 45% are furthering their studies through multiple pathways towards higher education.

We are happy to see many of our students being admitted into the 3 local renowned universities, The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), University of Hong Kong (HKU) and Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST). 13 students have been admitted into CUHK, 7 into HKU and 7 into HKUST for degree courses. Moreover, our students were able to get into much sought after courses such as CUHK’s Medical Programme, Pharmacy and Architectural Studies, HKU’s Bachelor of Arts in Literary Studies and Bachelor of Law (Double Degree), the Hong Kong Polytechnic University’s Physiotherapy Programme and the City University of Hong Kong’s Accountancy Programme. Besides, 17 students would be pursuing their studies in Nursing Programmes.

In 2015, 178 students sat for the examination. 97.2% of our students attained Level 2 or above in 5 subjects, including Chinese and English. The overall passing percentage was 98.2% with 62.2% attaining Level 4 or above. 78.7% of our students met the minimum entrance requirements for degree programmes (Level 3 or above in Chinese Language and English Language and Level 2 or above in Mathematics and Liberal Studies).

Moreover, 15 students obtained total scores of 35 or more in their best seven subjects. Lau Choi-yee achieved outstanding results, 5** in 3 subjects, 5* in 3 subjects and 5 in 1 subject, a total score of 44. On top of her excellent results, she has been selected as one of only 20 awardees of the Multi-faceted Excellence Scholarship set up by the Home Affairs Bureau. Her success in obtaining the award is welcome proof of the school’s great effort in striving to provide an all-round education for students.

 

Multiple Pathways 2015

This has been a fruitful year for the school. Many of our students were able to pursue their studies at tertiary level. 63% are pursuing degree courses whereas 31% are furthering their studies through multiple pathways towards higher education.

We are delighted to see 113 of our students pursuing degree courses. It is especially pleasing to know that many have gained admission into the 3 renowned local universities, University of Hong Kong, Chinese University of Hong Kong and Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. 16 students have been admitted into HKU, 14 students into CUHK and 7 students into HKUST for degree courses, amongst which are coveted programmes such as CUHK’s Medical Programme, Nursing and Chinese Medicine, HKU’s Bachelor of Dental Surgery and Architectural Studies, HKUST’s Bachelor of Science and Business Administration.

Scores of our students, with great endeavours in academic pursuit, could further their studies at tertiary level. 53% are pursuing degree courses while another 35% are continuing with the other pathways towards higher education. Apart from earning places in local degree programmes, 11 of our students have succeeded in pursuing different degree programmes globally.

In particular, the School takes pride in our students' admission into the 3 local renowned universities (8 students admitted to HKU, 10 students admitted to CUHK and 7 students admitted to HKUST) for degree courses.

 

The School bears testimony to our students' pursuit in multiple pathways, a burning concern for all students under the new academic structure. Apart from earning places in local degree programmes, 9 of our students have succeeded in pursuing different degree programmes globally. Wong Ho Yi Melody achieved very outstanding results and was admitted to the Savannah College of Art and Design, with a scholarship of about US$26,000/year, approximately HK$800,000 for her 4-year undergraduate programme.
