Our School honored with the Champion for "School Outstanding Fundraising Award" in the Oxfam Rice @ Campus 2026
2026-07-03

To nurture students’ empathy and sense of global citizenship, 15 of our Secondary 3 to Secondary 5 students recently served as "Oxfam Rice Ambassadors". They dedicated themselves to organizing a charity sale and educational promotion on campus, turning their care for global poverty into concrete action.

During the event, the Oxfam Rice Ambassadors aligned their efforts with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). They assisted in designing educational exhibition boards on global food issues and promoted the message of "food conservation" within the school, encouraging their peers to reflect on the challenges of unequal global resource distribution.

The success of this charitable event was made possible by the unwavering support and generosity of our parents, teachers, and students. Parents not only responded enthusiastically but also generously donated to and purchased Oxfam rice, walking hand-in-hand with the school. Through everyone's collective efforts, the school successfully sold a total of 522 packets of Oxfam rice. In recognition of their hard work, our "Oxfam Rice Ambassadors." were presented with certificates of commendation. Furthermore, thanks to the incredible generosity, our school was honored with the Champion for "School Outstanding Fundraising Award" in the Oxfam Rice @ Campus 2026.

Our school expresses its heartfelt gratitude to all parents, teachers, and students for their selfless dedication and kindness. We hope our students will continue to translate empathy into action, caring for the community and broadening their horizons to look at the world.
