Our S3 to S5 students embarked on an exchange program to Seoul in February 2026, immersing themselves in South Korea’s technology and culture. The journey aimed to take students beyond the classroom to experience local innovations and traditional heritage firsthand, broadening their international perspectives.
In terms of technological learning, students visited several iconic institutions. They gained valuable insights into the history and breakthroughs of the aviation industry at the National Aviation Museum, experienced programme production and broadcasting at the KBS television station, and explored future green technologies—such as hydrogen-powered vehicles—at Hyundai Motorstudio Goyang, prompting reflections on sustainable development.
The cultural exploration was equally diverse. Students visited historical sites such as Gyeongbokgung Palace and Bukchon Hanok Village, immersing themselves in traditional Korean aesthetics and history. They also traced the country’s historical timeline at the National Museum of Korea. Furthermore, the group visited Sungkyunkwan University to learn about the higher education system and joined a campus tour led by Korean students. This well- rounded itinerary provided a fruitful experience for our students.
