Sichuan Discovery Tour
2026-03-31

With the support of the Youth Mainland Exchange Funding Scheme under the Home and Youth Affairs Bureau, and organized by the Yuen Long Town Hall, our students successfully completed a four-day study tour in Sichuan from 31 March to 3 April 2026. The tour provided a valuable out-of-classroom learning experience, allowing students to witness the nation's remarkable achievements in ecological conservation and historical heritage firsthand.

A major highlight of the trip was the visit to the renowned giant panda conservation base, where students observed the daily lives of these national treasures up close. They also gained a deeper understanding of the dedication behind wildlife breeding, habitat restoration, and ecological balance, leaving them with a profound appreciation for environmental protection and sustainable development.

In addition to ecological exploration, the itinerary immersed students in the rich history of ancient Chinese culture. By visiting local historical landmarks and museums, students saw how cultural relics are preserved and revitalized. This exposure not only broadened their cultural horizons but also deepened their understanding of national history, strengthening their sense of national identity and pride.
