The Annual General Meeting of the Parents and Teachers Association (PTA) cum Parents’ Day was successfully held on October 13, 2023. Principal WOO Kit-ching commenced the event by welcoming the guests and parents. Principal WOO emphasized the importance of communication and cooperation between parents and the school, expressing her gratitude for their support and trust over the past few years. This support has not only enabled the smooth implementation of various policies, but has also enriched students' campus life with notable emphasis on their character development.

Subsequent to the Principal’s speech was the presentation of reports on the Association's affairs and financial status by the Chairperson, Ms. CHAN KO Ka-yin, and the Treasurer, Ms. CHAN Wai-yin, respectively.

The election officer, Mr. CHAN Chi-wai, who was the Former PTA Chairperson, then explained the election of the parent-representative for the School Management Committee (SMC). An on-site voting and ballot counting were conducted. Two parents contested for the seat, and a total of 160 votes were collected with two invalid counts. Mrs. YUNG YAU Sheung-wo, Angel garnered 92 votes while Mr. LEUNG Tsz-man took 66 votes. Based on the election results, Mrs. YUNG YAU Sheung-wo, Angel would serve as the parent-representative for the SMC from 2023 to 2025 with a two-year tenure.

During the event, Principal WOO and Chairperson CHAN also presented commemorative gifts to the two outgoing PTA members, Mr. LUK Pak-ho and Mrs. LAM WONG Yuk-man, expressing gratitude for their contributions to the Association.

In the last session of the meeting, Mr. PONG from Yan Chai Hospital School Social Work & Support Service and Ms. LEE from the Tune-in Family and Youth Service Scheme under the Scout Association of HK briefed parents about the Healthy Campus Programme.
